Built in 1860 by Count De' Vecchi as a hunting lodge, the villa later became the countryside retreat of the Bishop of Montalcino. Today, the villa is part of a small winery producing Brunello di Montalcino and offers an elegant and refined hospitality experience. The eight rooms, each with an evocative name, pay homage to the house's history while offering modern comforts. The property is nestled within a century-old park of approximately two hectares, populated by chestnut trees, cherry trees, and olive trees, offering dedicated spaces for relaxation, tastings, and picnics under the trees.

Anna Vittoria & Bernardo
In 1980, Dr. Massimo Losappio, the chief surgeon at Montalcino Hospital, and his wife, Marialuce, a philosophy teacher, purchased the villa to serve as their family home. Driven by a passion for winemaking, they planted their first vineyard in 1987. Since 2014, ownership has been with Anna Vittoria and Bernardo Losappio, with Anna Vittoria actively overseeing the estate alongside their sons, Edoardo and Niccolò. The family emphasizes sustainability, operating a plastic-free environment and striving to reduce CO2 emissions. They have also collaborated with renowned enologist Graziana Grassini to produce their esteemed Brunello di Montalcino wines
